Copper

Terms

The rules for the hosted service at copperanalytics.com. The open-source code has its own license.

Last updated October 4, 2026.

The service

Copper Analytics counts visits to websites you add and shows you the totals. It is provided free of charge, as it is, with no guarantee of availability or accuracy. Do not rely on it for billing or anything else where a missed count costs money.

Your account

  • You may add sites you own or have permission to measure, up to 10 projects.
  • Each project counts up to 5,000 pageviews a day. Pageviews past that are not recorded.
  • You are responsible for what is done under your sign-in.

What is not allowed

  • Sending fake traffic, or traffic for sites that are not yours.
  • Using the script to identify or follow individual people, for example by putting personal data in page addresses.
  • Attacking the service or getting around its limits.

A project or account that does these things may be switched off.

Your data

The numbers for your sites are yours. You can export them as CSV and delete them by deleting the project. The privacy page says what is stored.

Changes and ending

These terms and the limits may change; the date above changes with them. The service may be discontinued, in which case accounts get notice by email and time to export. You can stop using it at any time.

The software

The code is published under the MIT license at github.com/masaok/copper-analytics. These terms do not apply to copies you run yourself.
